Final task/ movie research the hangover
I chose the movie "The Hangover" for several reasons. Firstly, its unique and comedic premise caught my attention. The idea of a wild bachelor party in Las Vegas gone wrong, with the characters waking up with no memory of the previous night, promised a hilarious and unpredictable storyline. Secondly, the film boasted a talented ensemble cast, including Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis, known for their comedic prowess.
Narrative Structure: I appreciated "The Hangover" for its unconventional narrative structure, using a nonlinear timeline to unravel the events of the bachelor party. This non-traditional storytelling kept the audience engaged and intrigued. The dynamic between the main characters added a layer of humor and camaraderie. The contrasting personalities of Phil, Stu, and Alan contributed to the comedic tension and memorable moments throughout the film.
While "The Hangover" is widely acclaimed, there are aspects that might not appeal to everyone. One potential aspect is the film's reliance on raunchy and over-the-top humor, which can be divisive. Some viewers may find certain scenes or jokes to be too explicit or crude, leading to discomfort or a lack of connection with the comedic style.
