Editing blog

Image
My personal editing process begins with a critical review of my written work to identify areas that need improvement. I often take a break after writing, allowing myself to gain a fresh perspective before diving into the editing phase. I start by focusing on the big picture, considering the overall structure and flow of the content. After assessing the structure, I look at the clarity and coherence of my ideas and make necessary adjustments to ensure a logical progression. Spelling and grammar checks are an essential part of my editing process, and I use proofreading tools to catch errors. I pay close attention to sentence structure, making sure my sentences are clear and concise. Redundancies and wordiness are trimmed down to improve the readability of my writing. I analyze the consistency of tone and style throughout the piece, ensuring it remains uniform. Punctuation is scrutinized, including commas, semicolons, and dashes, to ensure they enhance readability. Verb tense and point

Second time filming.

As we continued filming we were getting more chemistry as a group. We were not messing up as much as before.   My group and I completed our first day of filming. The location we filmed at was Holiday Park. This was the perfect location for most of our scenes. This is because of its safe environment, easy access, and sports fields. We used our iPhones to film. Use our iPhones came with many benefits. Whenever one of our phones got low on battery we were able to switch to another. Also it is very easy to transfer videos between devices. Knowing all the different angles used in filming has been very helpful. My favorite shot is the POV shot. It puts the camera in the POV of the character. This can give details that wouldn't have been relieved otherwise. We had a couple obstacles while filming. At first the fields we planned to use were occupied. We had to wait until the fields were not in use in order to film some of our scenes.  Also we had trouble getting steady shots. Most of the

Thus making the film unsteady. We solved this problem b

This is my second production blog for the music video. My group which consists of me, Alex Nordyke, and Alex Dimartino have completed our mission in deciding what we are going to do for our music video. We have prepared and decided we will start filming this weekend. We have finished our decided places for filming. And we have finished deciding what we will be filming about. Our song is 7 years. This mastermind was created by Lukas Graham. This song will show the story of us growing up. It will show us growing old, the ups and downs of life. It will most importantly show how life can be great and bad at the same time. Our filming will most likely take place over the period of two to three weekends. Our filming will take place at 2-3 different locations around Fort Lauderdale and Pompano. After we are done filming, we will edit and make improvements to ensure we create the best music video that we can. This will be one of the best music videos you will ever watch. This will be plotted

Planning blog/ my groups planning

Hello, my group that consists of Alexander Nordyke and Alex Dimartino. We are doing 7 years by Lukas Graham. This song is considered pop or r&b. We will be filming in multiple places. The first place will be and Alex Nordyke's house. The second place will be at Alex Dimartino's house. The backup plan will be at the galleria mall. We will use old clothes. Whether these consist of mine or one of my groupmates for costumes. We will use some of Alex Nordykes old stuff from around the house for props. If needed we will go and buy some extra props. But we will use mostly outdoors and some indoors stuff for props. The backup plan will to bring our props to the Galleria. We will first get permission from the mall security and the police. We will then film where and when there will not be a lot of people around to make the backup plan take any longer. Our other backup plan will be on the streets of Las Olas. We will film in an area with less people. Our planning for this music vide

My group for the music video

I am working with Alexander Nordyke, and Alex Dimartino. I chose them because making a music video will be easier and will look a lot better than if I did it alone. It will not only have better filming, but will have more actors for more roles. The reason I picked these two men as my film partners, was because I trust them with work and we have great team chemistry. I played baseball with Alexander Nordyke, and have known Alex Dimartino for a little over a year. This was a much better alternative not only because it will be a better music video. But mainly because Alex Nordyke has a car. This will make filming our videos much easier. And faster. We chose to do the song 7 years old. This song was created by Lucas Gram. This song was release in september of 2015. We chose this song because we have a format that will work great with this song. This song will have a impact on our ideas for our music video. This song also was my favorite song growing up. I used to listen to it on the way t

Intro blog: intro to the music video

My name is Nathaniel Greene and here is a taste of what I like and dislike. I took this class because I enjoy editing and taking photos of cars. I enjoy sushi and barbeque as my favorite foods. I play varsity baseball here at Fort Lauderdale with other people in my class. My favorite class here at Fort Lauderdale would either be Media Studies or weight lifting. Tying into weightlifting, I love lifting weights and that helps me with my mental health. I love going to the beach and the pool. I live on the beach so this is very easy for me to do. I love cars and motorcycles. My favorite car is a Chevrolet Corvette z06. I enjoy this car not only because it is fast, but because the car is manual and I love to shift the gears myself. I love Fort Lauderdale as a school, mainly because of the people I have met. I used to play basketball at the YMCA. I met so many great people while playing. I also used to play soccer with parks and rec. I love my bikes too. I own six different bikes. One elect
