Part 1. After a lot of thought from my group mates and myself, we decided to do the same genre that we originally decided to do. We decided to do this because we had already created an idea for our music video. The genre that we had picked fit perfectly with this music video and our idea for the project going into it. Our music video ended up coinciding perfectly with our original idea. For our original idea planner, I have to thank Alex Nordyke for coming up with the greatest idea of our entire project, this of course was the choose not only for the genre of music we were going to use, but also the exact song that we would go on to listen to for our music video project.
Part 2. Our group decided to copy to a representation group about Alex Dimartino’s idea about football, our character (which was played by Nathaniel Owen Greene) was the story about a young man who had an interest in playing a sport, this sport was called American Football. He had dreams of playing for Fort Lauderdale High school, the nickname for this team was the 1600 boys. He knew if he worked hard enough and put in the time not only on the football field, but also in the weight room, he had a serious dream and shot of making it to the next level of football. His dream college was to go to The University of Florida Gators to not only pursue his academic prowess, but also to join the football team at the university. He was guided by his coach (Alex Dimartino) to help him create this dream into an opportunity.
Part 1. Our video would be better than everyone else video for a magnitude of reasons but I will give a few examples. Our high production values, including quality cinematography, lighting, and editing, contribute to the overall professionalism of the video. We made our video better by also filming in the real world as opposed to a green screen or at home. Our music video also has a much better chance of attracting a larger attraction due to the fact that during our actors training to make it to the NFL (National Football league) his coach dies and it makes the main character very sad and can have an emotional effect on people watching our music video.
Part 2. Releasing your music video on TikTok can offer several benefits due to the platform's unique features and user engagement. Here are some reasons why. TikTok has a high potential for videos to go viral. If your music video features engaging content, catchy visuals, or challenges, it may attract attention and be shared widely on the platform. Another reason is TikTok has a predominantly young user base, making it an ideal platform for reaching a demographic that is actively engaged in discovering and sharing new music. A third reason is TikTok is known for its strong focus on music, and many trends and challenges on the platform are driven by popular songs. Releasing your music video on TikTok allows you to tap into a community that is already enthusiastic about music. Next, a lot of TikTok encourages user participation through duets, reactions, and challenges. If your music video includes elements that invite user interaction, it can enhance engagement and make your content more shareable. Another reason is TikTok's algorithm is designed to promote content based on user preferences. If your music video gains traction, it may appear on the "For You" page, increasing its discoverability among a broader audience. TikTok's format is conducive to short-form content. If your music video has visually appealing or impactful moments that can be condensed into shorter clips, it aligns well with the platform's style. Finally TikTok trends often involve music, and users frequently engage with challenges and dances related to popular songs. Releasing your music video on TikTok allows it to become part of ongoing trends, increasing its visibility.
First we came up with the idea to do a certain song. This song was carefully picked out of a list of 5 songs. We did this song because it helped with the backstory of our characters. Since it was a time lapse of our character's life from an up and coming football player to his demise in his life it showed how life can change in an instant and how to always appreciate the special moments in life because they can be taken away in an instant.
First we filmed at three different locations, the first location was at Holiday park we filmed there for a few hours. We filmed a majority of our scenes here. At holiday we showed all of the football scenes and the death of the coach scene, and walking with your family scene. The next filming location was at Alex Dimartinos house, this scene was about the piano and about the death of Nathaniel’s beloved coach. He was playing to signal how his life went on after and he became depressed. The last scene was at Nathaniel’s house. These scenes were about Nathaniel not putting work in and getting lazy. He realized he messed up and at that point it was too late for him to do anything. For filming we first used calicut to put all of the videos together, the c was part was hard at first but after a few youtube tutorials. I then screen recorded our entire video and added the music. This was the hardest part as Capcut did not have the audio that we needed for our music video. I ended up downloading our song from spotify a music platform and then I put it over our music video. This took a few tries but in the end I created the perfect sound. In the end this was a stressful project that took a lot of dedication but we ended up coming together as a group and finished out strong.
